EXIN qualification program according to ISO/IEC 20000 combined with the ABC of ICT method offer innovative solutions beyond what the most common frameworks can provide. These were common issues shared by many of the participants and highlights the need for a new approach to ITSM.
The WAN optimization/WAN acceleration space is a curious animal: still considered a niche specialty by some, already overcrowded for others, but, now that cloud computing is the end-all, be-all choice for many of tomorrow’s data center deployments, a wholly necessary investment.
A server that is authorized to use WAN optimization can now be equipped with Steelhead Discovery Agent. The agent can track a given server’s movement to a new IP address, even if it is a virtual server that’s been moved from on-premises to out in the cloud. Once the move is detected, the server redirects connections to the Cloud Steelhead server, which takes over the optimized movement of data and application logic from the new location.
The LPIC program is designed in multiple levels. Determining which tasks were suitable to each level was done using a “Job Task Analysis” (JTA) survey.
